Aurangabad, Feb 18: The water supply to the city from Jaikwadi dam was closed since Wednesday night following a fault in the power cable of transformer in the pump house on 1400 mm water pipeline. An alternative arrangement was made on Thursday evening, restoring the water supply to the city from 5 pm. The snag has disrupted water supply to the city and Cidco-Hudco areas. The scheduled round of water supply in Cidco-Hudco has been postponed by a day. Last week too, the Cidco-Hudco areas were deprived of adequate water after a leak in the 1400 mm water pipeline on Railway Station road.
