Waterlogged situation at Anandnagar

Anandnagar in the Town Hall area faced water logged situations as water entered into the houses for three to four feets in the residents'' homes. The low-lying areas always face a waterlogged situation whenever there is rain in the city. The residents had to face severe inconvenience when water is saturated in these areas. Historic Kamal Lake is situated near Anandnagar while the residents have encroached the lake in the past few years. Hence, the water enters in the houses here. Water is accumulated for around three to four feet here from all the sides. The residents here always face severe inconvenience during rainy season and demand that the municipal corporation resolve the issue soon.
