The 82nd ‘Rare Share’ session organised by the Aurangabad Management Association (AMA) on Friday featured entrepreneur Sachin Kate, co-founder of GroNiva Corporation Pvt. Ltd., who shared his journey from a village of 200–250 people to building a technology enterprise. The session was held at MIT.

Kate said he had no mentor or exposure to technology and had scored 46% in Class 10. “My courtyard was my entire world,” he recalled, adding that failure became a turning point in his life. As a student, he sold bread in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parli and Sonpeth, and later distributed newspapers, learning discipline and time management. Starting with Rs 25,000, he built his venture step by step, overcoming setbacks through perseverance and strong team support. “Today, we are not just building software; we are building trust,” he said, stressing value-driven practices and teamwork. Chief guest Salil Donde, visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, outlined five pillars of success product, market, business model, team and capital and urged entrepreneurs to leverage AI and think globally. The event was attended by C.P. Tripathi, AMA president Ashish Garde, Charudatta Deshpande, Mangesh Karandikar, Abhay Kulkarni, Sandeep Pankade and Yogita Nahar, among others.
