A dispute over wedding expenses turned violent in Brijwadi on March 17, leaving 38-year-old Manda Suradkar seriously injured.
According to the complaint, Manda was at home with her husband Parmeshwar and son Karan around 1.30 pm when her daughter-in-law Komal Suradkar, along with her mother Uma Ghorpade and sister Payal Jawale, arrived and reignited an earlier argument. The trio allegedly assaulted Manda with kicks and punches, targeting her face, causing broken teeth and severe injuries. They also reportedly threatened to implicate the family in false cases. A case has been registered against the three at MIDC Cidco police station. Further investigation is underway.
