The operations of the Smart City Mission programme came to an end on March 31. Since then, various shocking aspects of the Smart City administration have come to light. It has been revealed that the Smart City administration spent over Rs 15 crore on the salaries of officers and employees. Among these revelations, it has also come to light that the salary of the additional CEO was double that of the CEO.

The Smart City spent a total of Rs 18.74 lakh per month on the salaries of officers and employees. Over a period of seven years, a total of Rs 15.75 crore was spent on salaries. In addition, the officers and employees undertook domestic and international tours, and expenses for meetings of the Board of Directors and experts were separate. These expenses have not yet been disclosed.

CEO: Rs 1 lakh

Additional CEO: Rs 1.77 lakh

Project Manager: Rs 87,525

Accounts Officer: Rs 74,350

Media Analyst: Rs 58,740

Sector Leader: Rs 1.03 lakh

Receptionist: Rs 27,218

Security Guard: Rs 21,218

PA to CEO: Rs 36,000

Office Assistant: Rs 17,390

Office Manager: Rs 33,060

Project Engineer: Rs 86,000 and

Peon: Rs 16,450.
