Aurangabad, Jan 2: Students of Wockhardt Global School participated in the Global Social Leaders (a group of students dedicated to save the planet Earth for future generations) of Lyceum International School, Kurunegala, Sri Lanka to do a cover song to welcome the New Year 2021, under the theme ‘Life on Land’, one of the United Nation''s Sustainable Development Goals.

The objective of this exercise was to convey to the society a powerful message in terms of protecting the environment for the future generations. Students from all the continents of the world contributed to the song by singing with action. The song was released on December 31 at 1200GMT.

Students who participated are Tushar Mantri, Afshaan Shaikh, Aarya Loya, Shambhavi Gaware, Neelansh Kumar, Zaara Patel and Mihika Gothi. Sarita Mishra and Janitha Dissanayake (Digital content Manager, Luceum School) coordinated across schools to make this a successful partnership.
