Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A 38-year-old married woman allegedly died by suicide after jumping into a well at Bazarsawangi on Tuesday around 1 pm.

The deceased was identified as Sangita Sanjay Shinde. Police patil Karbhari Narwade informed the local police outpost after learning of the incident. Jamadar Kolhe, Dilip Bansode, Sanjay Sapkal and Santosh Bhalerao rushed to the spot. With the help of residents, she was pulled out and taken to the primary health centre, where medical officer Dr Shinde declared her dead. Police conducted a spot panchnama and sent the body for post-mortem. After legal formalities, it was handed over to the family, and the last rites were performed late at night. She is survived by her husband and two daughters. The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
