In an uncommon incident, a woman abused her husband and later on hit him with a hammer in his head when he dared to ask his sister-in-law where she was during the whole night. The incident took place at Sajapur on Monday morning.

The victim Amir Akhil Quadri stays in Hussain Colony in Sajapur. His sister-in-law had come to his house to stay on Saturday. On the evening of the second day, when Amir came home from work, his sister-in-law was not there in the house. Hence he contacted his wife’s parents for inquiry. They claimed that the sister-in-law was not there with them. Amir’s wife also pleaded innocence saying she does not know where her sister is.

On Monday morning (at 5.30 am), the sister-in-law came home. Hence Amir asked her where she was during the whole night. This enraged Amir’s wife and she abused her husband. Later on, following an argument, she hit him in the head with a hammer and injured Amir. Later on, Amir’s wife and her sister left the house. Amir was bleeding due to a head injury. His friend Aslam Shaikh rushed him to the hospital. Waluj MIDC police have registered an offence in this regard.
