Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

In a shocking incident in Ambedkarnagar, a 32-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and thrown out of her house with her newborn daughter by her husband and in-laws, who taunted her for giving birth to a girl. Cidco police have registered a case against seven accused, including husband Vishal Suradkar and his father Sahebrao Suradkar (Chikhli). Married in 2018, the woman was allegedly harassed for not bringing money from her parental home. The harassment resumed after she delivered a daughter, and she was beaten and forced out. When her mother attempted mediation, the accused allegedly assaulted her as well, while a relative, Nalini, verbally abused and attacked the complainant. Further investigation is underway.
