Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Police constable Jayshree Phule (45), attached to MIDC Waluj police station, passed away due to a heart attack at around 11.30 pm on Saturday after returning home from duty. She was a resident of TV Centre, Cidco.

Her last rites were performed with full state honours at the crematorium in N-7. She is survived by her husband, son and daughter. She was the wife of Sanjay Patil, who is serving at the police headquarters. Constable Jayshree Phule was known in the city police force as a warm, cheerful and cooperative officer. Her sudden demise has left the police department in mourning.
