Aurangabad, May 15:

A free meal was served at ‘Matoshri Vrudhashram,’ old age home at Paithan Road on Saturday under ‘Madaticha Ek Haath” initiative.

Maharashtra Pradesh Mahila Congress (MPMC) president Sandhya Savvalkahe and MLA Praniti Shinde instructed the women activists to take the initiative.

MPMC secretary Meenakshi Deshpande took the lead.

Mayuri Pathan, Manju Sutar, Vimala Sutar, Lalita Ahirrao, Nanda Kulkarni, Sapna Parikhm Jyoti Kulkarni and Sangeeta Jadhav participated in the initiative.

An online meeting of all office-bearers of the city and district committee was held recently. The participants were urged to help those who were affected by the COVID situation.

The office-bearers and members of the wing prepared meal at home and distributed at old age home.
