Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A pre-Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet workshop on “Export Business Opportunities for MSMEs” was organised at the CMIA hall on May 14 by the Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC), EEPC India and the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA).

The workshop, held under the union MSME Ministry’s RAMP programme, received participation from MSME representatives, entrepreneurs, exporters and industrial organisations from across Marathwada. It was organised ahead of the International Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet scheduled in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on June 16 and 17. CMIA president Utsav Machhar stressed the need for such initiatives to connect Marathwada industries with global markets. District Industries Centre General Manager Karuna Kharat said Maharashtra contributes around 15-17 per cent to the country’s total exports and ranks second in export preparedness. She urged MSMEs to take advantage of government export promotion schemes. EEPC India deputy director Mukesh Samtani guided participants on export presentation techniques, global market entry and effective communication with international buyers. SIDBI assistant general manager Arun Khalkho explained financial assistance, working capital support and export banking procedures, while Pranav Kumar Chinchole spoke on export risk management, insurance, dues protection and ECGC schemes. Participants were urged to take part in the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet in June to explore expansion opportunities in international markets.
