Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A young biker was killed when a speeding tempo crushed him while returning home from his farm in Abdullapur tanda, Paithan tehsil. The incident occurred around 4 pm on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Vishal Rathod (25). According to police, unmarried Vishal Rathod was riding his motorcycle (MH-20-HL-3250) from his farm toward home when a tempo (MH-20-EG-9383), traveling at high speed from Adul toward Balanagar, collided with and crushed his bike. Vishal sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed by locals to the Government Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Doctors examined him and declared him dead on arrival. Following the accident, Pachod police, including police sub inspector Mahadev Naikwade, and officers reached the scene, conducted the panchnama, and managed traffic. The case has been registered at Pachod police station.
