A 23-year-old man was brutally assaulted with an iron rod after he refused to lend his two-wheeler for an outing. The victim, Shaikh Adnan (Anguribagh, Diwandevdi), who works in decoration (mandap) services, was attacked by a youth named Shahrukh from Sanjaynagar. The incident occurred around 10 pm on March 22 in Bhavaninagar, where the accused allegedly beat him and struck his head with an iron rod. A case has been registered against Shahrukh at the Jinsi police station.
