An obscene comment made by an accused on a young woman’s Instagram video led to a violent incident after he was confronted. When he was questioned, he allegedly sent obscene videos again. When his behaviour was questioned by the woman along with her mother and maternal uncle, the youth assaulted all of them. The incident took place on May 2 in the Cidco N-7 sector. A case has been registered at Cidco police station based on the woman’s complaint.
The accused has been identified as Badal Jayasingh Thakur (Kachighati). The 22-year-old woman lives with her mother and is preparing for police recruitment exams. The accused Badal allegedly posted obscene comments on her Instagram posts. When she questioned him through comments, he again sent her obscene videos.
She informed her family about the incident. Her maternal uncle traced him and found that he was a local resident of the same village. Following this, the woman, her mother, and her uncle confronted Badal. However, he allegedly abused them and severely assaulted the woman, her mother, and her uncle. A case has been registered in this regard at the Cidco police station.
