Cidco police have registered a case against RPI office-bearers Apparao Gavanaji Ingole and Balkrishna Ingole, residents of Toranagad nagar, MHADA Colony, on court orders for allegedly blackmailing and threatening to kill a youth.

Complainant Samadhan Bhivsane (32, Ambedkarnagar), said he purchased a car from Apparao Ingole in May 2022 for Rs 8.5 lakh, paying the amount through a loan after signing a sale agreement. A few months later, Balkrishna allegedly began threatening him over calls, claiming Apparao’s wife would commit suicide because the car had been sold and demanding that it be returned. Under pressure, Bhivsane returned the car after the accused paid Rs 2.5 lakh, but they allegedly refused to pay the remaining amount. The accused also pressured him to buy commercial land, threatening that he would not receive his money otherwise. The car was later sold to Dhirendra Parekh, leaving Bhivsane, a private employee, burdened with loan repayments. He approached the court, following which the case was registered. PSI Haridas Maidwad is investigating.
