Begumpura police registered a case on Tuesday against Rohit Kapil (Tofkhana), for allegedly stalking, molesting, and threatening a female student on the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University campus.

According to the complaint, the accused had been stalking the victim for several days and harassing her with repeated phone calls for the past one-and-a-half years. On February 13 at around 11 am, he allegedly followed her inside the university premises, stopped her on a public road, held her hand, and demanded physical relations, leaving her frightened. The accused also allegedly threatened to defame her by making her photographs viral. Initially, the victim approached Jalna police, where a case was registered. The case was later transferred to Begumpura police station for further investigation.
