Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A 28-year-old man died on the spot after a collision between a car and a two-wheeler near the Vasusaigaon bridge on the Nagpur–Mumbai highway on Friday at around 3.30 pm. The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Arun Mali (28), a resident of Ambewadi in Gangapur tehsil.

According to details, Bhaskar Mali was travelling on his motorcycle (MH 20 FL 9782) from Lasur Station towards Ambewadi when a car (MH 17 DS 3982), coming from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar towards Lasur Station, rammed into his bike. He died instantly due to the impact.

On receiving information, ambulance driver and Shiv Sena city chief Mayur Jaiswal, former deputy sarpanch Ganesh Vyavahare, and assistant sub-inspector Dhananjay Gonde rushed to the spot. Other injured persons in the accident were shifted to a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for treatment.
