Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A youth was seriously injured after being attacked with a knife, iron rod, and wooden sticks over an old minor dispute in the Tisgaon Chowk area, Waluj MIDC. A case has been registered against four persons at the MIDC Waluj Police Station.

According to the complaint filed by ChetanPawar (21, manager by profession at a hotel, resident of Indraprastha Colony, Bajajnagar), the incident took place between 1.30 am and 2:00 am on May 10 at Tisgaon Chowk.

The accused Yash Wakchaure, Dattu Wakchaure, Balaji Tere, and Kamlesh Muchak (all residents of MIDC Waluj area) abused the complainant over a parking-related dispute linked to an earlier conflict. They then allegedly assaulted him with fists, followed by an attack using a knife, iron rod, and wooden sticks, causing serious injuries. Police sub inspector Praveen Patharkar is conducting the investigation.
