Aurangabad, June 19: A 20-year-old youth Sandesh Govardhan Chavan (20) died after falling off a building at Vivekanandnagar in Phulambri town on Saturday evening.

Police said Sandeep had gone to terrace for some work and fell off after losing balance.

Family members rushed him to the rural hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Relatives took away the body to Marsawali for the last rites without post-mortem. Sandesh was a third-year student of an Aurangabad college. His father is a cloth merchant and hails from Marsawali village in Phulambri tehsil. For the last few years, he is staying in Phulambri.

It is being said that Sandesh had gone to the terrace to fetch a ball and sustained shock while retrieving it with a steel rod. However, as Phulambri police were not informed about the accident, it is difficult to tell the reason behind the death.
