Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Under the banner of the Academic Justice Committee (AJC), various youth organisations staged a demonstration against the National Testing Agency (NTA) in connection with the alleged NEET paper leak, in front of the Divisional Commissioner’s office on Friday afternoon. A delegation later submitted a memorandum to Divisional Commissioner G Sreekanth.

The protest was participated in by several organisations, including the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Morcha (BVM), Youth Movement of Maharashtra (YMM) and the National Students’ union of India (NSUI).

Office-bearers of different organisations, including Jaishel Kamble, Prof. Najmuddin, Abhishek Patil, Asef Qureshi, Naseer Johri, Awez Siddiqui and others, expressed their views during the demonstration.

Later, a memorandum was submitted to the divisional commissioner demanding a transparent and time-bound investigation into the NEET paper leak case. The memorandum also called for strict punishment for all those involved in the alleged crime chain, accountability from the Central Government for the NTA’s failure to conduct the examination fairly and transparently, and demanded that the union Education Minister resign on moral grounds.
