Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A local miscreant allegedly threatened residents with setting their house on fire after making objectionable remarks about women in the locality. The incident occurred on March 30 under the jurisdiction of Pundliknagar police station.

The accused has been identified as Saptarshi Andhare. He reportedly arrived in the complainant’s area on a two-wheeler, created a ruckus and made offensive comments about women in the neighbourhood, besides issuing death threats. Based on a complaint lodged by a 35-year-old man, police have registered a case against Andhare.
