Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The Zilla Parishad (ZP) of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar secured the top position in the state for its outstanding performance under the ‘Sevakarmi Plus’ programme. On Saturday in Mumbai, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis honoured chief executive officer (CEO) Ankit for this achievement.

The ‘Sevakarmi Plus’ programme, conceptualised by the Chief Minister, was implemented for 150 days starting from October 2 2025 to assess progress in service-related matters and to bring about improvements. However, due to flood conditions in the state, the programme was extended until January 10, 2026.

Under the guidance of ZP-CEO Ankit, deputy CEO (General Administration) Raghavendra Ghorpade successfully implemented the programme. All department heads within the zilla parishad and their subordinate staff responded positively, contributing to the success of the initiative. Based on the evaluation carried out at the government level, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ZP was ranked the best in the state.

What did the programme include?

The programme focused on administrative reforms, particularly on human resource-related matters. It included publishing employees’ seniority lists; granting promotions; updating roster registers; compassionate appointments; direct recruitment; registration on the Central Government’s ‘iGOT’ portal and completion of five training courses; updating service records etc.
