ZP School students shine in scholarship exam

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 1312 students from the district have passed the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) scheme, which is for the economically weaker section (2025-26). Of them, 925 students are from Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools while 377 are from private schools.

Primary Education Officer Jayshree Chavan said that ZP students came out with flying colours in the scholarship exam.

ZP schools from Sillod, Vaijapur, and Gangapur tehsils achieved great success in this national scholarship exam conducted by the Central Government.

Among the successful students, 370 students are from ZP schools of Vaijapur, while 121 students are from Sillod tehsil. A total of 51 students from Andhari ZP school alone passed, while 48 students from Nimgaon school declared qualified.
