Aurangabad Dec 5:

Chairman of Education Committee of Zilla Parishad Avinash Galande said that they would get Rs 1.30 crore for repair and construction works of secondary schools.

It may be noted that Rs 3 crore were sanctioned District Planning and Development Committee (DPDC) for the construction and repair works of secondary schools.

The ZP will get 33 per cent (Rs 99 lakh) as per the Government directives. There is unused fund of Rs 53 lakh while ZP will contribute Rs 21.15 lakh. Thus, it will get Rs 1.30 crore for the works.

Chief Finance and Accounts officer of ZP Appasaheb Chate aid that DPDC has not received fund from the Planning Department yet and they were waiting for the guidelines.
