Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], April 7: CINIC, in collaboration with MORPHIC, successfully hosted the AI Ad Making Hackathon - Bengaluru Edition, bringing together 80 curated AI creators on a single creative stage to produce brand-led advertisements using generative AI.

The one-day hackathon, held at Conscious Engines, Indiranagar, focused on the evolving intersection of advertising, storytelling, and artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional hackathons centered on technical problem-solving, this event revolved around real brand briefs, challenging participants to conceptualise and deliver high-impact short-form ads aligned with brand positioning and communication objectives within a tight timeline.

Participants engaged with brands across diverse categories including Entertainment, Fashion, Fintech, and Robotics, highlighting the growing adoption of generative AI in commercial storytelling. Their work was evaluated on the ability to interpret brand messaging, translate ideas into compelling executions, and demonstrate creativity under time constraints.

A distinguished panel of judges featured creative and industry leaders from MORPHIC, PocketFM, Rare Rabbit, WLDD, Marty Labs, Remit2Any, Vastrani Heritage, and Brian Walker, Assistant Director of Avatar, representing Revel Studios, bringing an international filmmaking perspective to the evaluation process.

The event was supported by Beyond Building, HackCulture, TheResidency - Bangalore Chapter, and Varnam Creative House, reinforcing collaboration between creative communities, brands, and emerging AI talent.

Beyond the competition, the hackathon acted as a talent discovery platform, enabling design studios, production houses, and brands to identify creators capable of delivering high-quality advertising content using AI tools.

CINIC continues to strengthen the entertainment ecosystem by building a verified professional network connecting directors, writers, editors, designers, and AI filmmakers with production houses and brands through structured programs focused on measurable creative output.
