New Delhi [India], January 29: The Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, has officially appointed Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Singh as All India University (AIU) Observer for the National/Zonal University Games 2025-26.

Mr. Singh is an international jury and judge with the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF). He has officiated in several national and international shooting competitions conducted by NRAI and ISSF, both in India and abroad, reflecting his extensive technical expertise and global experience.

As part of his appointment, he has been entrusted with ensuring fair play, rule compliance, transparency, safety standards, and the smooth conduct of competitions in accordance with AIU regulations and international sporting norms.

He will oversee the 10m Air Rifle and 10m Air Pistol (Men & Women) Shooting Championships, to be held at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, from 27 January to 04 February 2026.

This appointment reflects AIU's confidence in Mr. Singh's professionalism, integrity, and contribution to shooting sports at the national and international levels.

It is also a significant achievement for Mr. Dhiraj Singh and a proud moment for Mumbai, highlighting the city's growing contribution to national and international sports administration.
