New Delhi [India], March 13: In a major step toward promoting women's financial independence, Indian entrepreneur Gopal Dash Baghel has announced the upcoming launch of MakeMyBiryani, an innovative home-cooked food delivery platform designed to empower women by turning their culinary skills into sustainable income opportunities.

The initiative, co-founded with Jasbir Kaur, aims to build a nationwide community of home cooks while connecting them with urban consumers seeking authentic, nutritious, and home-style meals.

Drawing on nearly 25 years of experience in finance, administration, corporate consultancy, and sports management, Baghel is bringing structured operational systems and digital platforms together to create a scalable network of home-based food entrepreneurs.

"In many Indian homes, the kitchen has always been a space of care, tradition, and skill," said Baghel. "However, the incredible talent of home cooks often remains limited to family circles. Through this initiative, we aim to provide womenespecially homemakers and senior citizenswith a pathway to financial independence without requiring heavy investments."

The MakeMyBiryani platform will operate on a cloud-kitchen-enabled model, allowing women to cook from their own kitchens while managing their personal schedules. The meals offered through the platform will emphasize authentic Indian recipes prepared with fresh vegetables, quality ingredients, and strict hygiene standards, offering consumers a healthier alternative to conventional takeaway food and a reliable tiffin meal service for everyday home-style dining.

Co-founder Jasbir Kaur, who is shaping the operational framework of the platform, highlighted the simplicity of the idea: connecting talented home cooks from across India with people who crave food that tastes like it was prepared in a family kitchen.

Beyond food delivery, the initiative will also support participating women with training in food safety, packaging, digital order management, and recipe standardization to ensure consistent quality.

The platform will further encourage community-building among women entrepreneurs, enabling collaboration through peer networks, shared sourcing of ingredients, and joint marketing initiatives.

With its unique blend of traditional home cooking and modern technology, MakeMyBiryani aims to redefine food delivery while creating meaningful economic opportunities for women across India.
