Harshdeep Hortico Limited (BSE: HARSHDEEP), a prominent player in the horticulture and outdoor décor space, has reported a strong performance for H2 FY26, driven by rising demand, product innovation, and a strategic push into new segments.
The company recorded revenue of ₹36.07 crore, reflecting a 15% year-on-year growth, while profit before tax rose 25% to ₹6.82 crore. Profit after tax also increased by 24.68%, highlighting improved operational efficiencies and margin expansion.
In an exclusive interaction with, Mr.Harshit Shah, CFO, Harshdeep Hortico Limited, said the growth was driven by increasing demand across both indoor and outdoor décor categories. “There is a clear shift in consumer preference towards aesthetically appealing and functional products, especially in gardening and home décor. This trend has significantly supported our growth,” he said.
Scaling Growth Through Distribution, Diversification and Efficiency
Shah noted that the company's profitability growth outpacing revenue is the result of a focused approach towards automation, process upgrades, and supply chain optimization. “We have invested in upgrading capacity and processes to ensure both scale and quality. This has helped us operate more efficiently while maintaining strong margins,” he explained.
A key strategic move during the year has been the company's expansion into agriculture shade nets, marking its entry into a new and high-potential segment. With increasing awareness around modern farming techniques, Harshdeep sees this as a long-term growth driver.
At the same time, the company has been actively strengthening its dealer network across India. Through a combination of franchise-led expansion, exclusive showrooms in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Chandigarh, and robust warehouse and distribution infrastructure, Harshdeep is building a more integrated and scalable supply chain. This approach not only enhances market reach but also allows better control over pricing and margins.
The company has also expanded its Eco Series, reinforcing its focus on sustainable product design, while simultaneously increasing its presence in the growing outdoor décor segment.
Innovation and Quality at the Core of Future Strategy
Innovation continues to remain central to Harshdeep's growth story. The recent launch of India's first rotomoulded decorative water fountains marks a significant step in strengthening its portfolio of indoor and outdoor décor solutions. Developed through in-house capabilities, the product reflects the company's focus on design, durability, and differentiation.
“While we continue to expand into new categories, quality remains non-negotiable for us,” he emphasized. “From sourcing high-grade raw materials to deploying trained manpower and multiple levels of quality checks, every aspect is carefully monitored. Automation further helps us maintain consistency at scale.”
Looking ahead, the company is focused on expanding its footprint across both domestic and export markets. Despite prevailing geopolitical uncertainties, Harshdeep remains optimistic about sustained growth, supported by continuous innovation and strong customer relationships.
As one of the organized players in a largely unorganized industry, the company is positioning itself through scale, quality, and brand trust. With a growing manufacturing capacity and a diversified product portfolio, Harshdeep Hortico appears well-placed to build on its current momentum and strengthen its presence in India and beyond.
