New Delhi [India], April 02: Godawari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) has received the ‘Consent to Operate' from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board for its 6.91 MW waste heat recovery-based power plant located at its integrated steel facility in Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur. This development marks a significant step in the company's ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency while reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
The newly approved power plant is designed to utilize waste heat generated from flue gases emitted by the company's pellet plant and ferro alloys division.
