Pune (Maharashtra) [India], April 7: On the eve of Ram Navami, a grand and historic spiritual event titled "Sakhi Geet Ramayan and Ram-Sita Swayamvar" was organized with great devotion at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate, Pune under the leadership of Dr. Mihir Kulkarni, President of Gravity Group. Thousands of devotees of Lord Ram gathered to witness and immerse themselves in a deeply devotional experience.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding great significance to the event. He was accompanied by Member of Parliament Medha Kulkarni, MLAs Hemant Rasane and Bhimrao Tapkir, along with several dignitaries and renowned personalities from the cultural sphere.

In his address, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated, "Lord Shri Ram is not just a symbol of dharma and righteousness, but the very essence of India's cultural and moral values. I feel truly fortunate to witness this magnificent event. The musical presentation of Geet Ramayan and the dramatic enactment of Ram-Sita Swayamvar were so grand and moving that every audience member was emotionally touched. This is a cultural celebration that keeps our heritage alive, and I wholeheartedly congratulate Dr. Mihir Kulkarni and the Gravity Group for their inspiring efforts."

Dr. Mihir Kulkarni, the chief organizer and President of Gravity Group, Pune, expressed, "It is a matter of great pride for us to be a part of this historic celebration. The event featured a soulful rendition of "Sakhi Geet Ramayan," originally penned by legendary poet G. D. Madgulkar and composed by the iconic music director Late Sudhir Phadke. Following this was a magnificent dramatic portrayal of the "Ram-Sita Swayamvar," showcasing the virtues of Lord Ram and the grandeur of the swayamvar ceremony in Janakpur. With an elegant stage setup, musical storytelling, and a devotional atmosphere, every attendee was immersed in the spirit of Shri Ram.

Thousands of devotees from Pune and surrounding areas participated in the event. With utmost devotion, they experienced the musical journey of Geet Ramayan and watched the mesmerizing performance of Ram-Sita Swayamvar. The program concluded with the audience offering prayers to Lord Ram and Goddess Sita and chanting "Jai Shri Ram!" in unison.

This grand event has become a golden chapter in the cultural history of Pune.
