Domestic passenger flight services commencing from Monday will have a fixed minimum and maximum fare structure for different routes, Civil Aviation Minister Hadeep Singh Puri said on Thursday.
According to the minister, the step has been taken under the special circumstances that have come about due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
Under the new fare structure, air routes are divided into seven sections based on travel time.
Each such section has its minimum and maximum fares fixed.
