Established under the Sikkim Legislative Assembly Act No. 11 of 2024 and approved by Hon'ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur, the university promises to offer international-standard education coupled with mandatory industry training, eliminating the need for students to migrate to metropolitan cities.
Addressing Regional Educational ChallengesFor decades, students from Sikkim and neighboring hill states had to choose between compromising on educational quality or bearing the high costs of relocating to cities like Delhi or Mumbai.
