Shares of Vodafone Idea continued their strong upward rally ahead of the company’s fourth quarter earnings announcement, with investor sentiment remaining upbeat amid expectations surrounding its fundraising plans and financial performance. On Friday, Vodafone Idea shares were trading at ₹13.12 on the NSE, up 1.16% for the day. The telecom stock has witnessed a sharp rally in recent weeks, gaining nearly 39% over the past one month. The stock has also risen 10.59% in the last five trading sessions, reflecting strong buying interest ahead of the company’s Q4 FY26 results.

The company has already informed stock exchanges that its Board of Directors will meet on May 16, 2026, to consider and approve the standalone and consolidated audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. Apart from the earnings announcement, investors are also closely tracking the company’s fundraising plans. Vodafone Idea stated that its board will consider a proposal to raise funds through the issuance of equity shares and/or warrants on a preferential basis, subject to necessary approvals, including shareholder approval.

The recent rally in Vodafone Idea shares comes amid renewed optimism around the company’s efforts to strengthen its financial position and accelerate network expansion. Market participants are expected to closely watch management commentary on fundraising, debt obligations, subscriber growth, and future capital expenditure plans during the earnings announcement. In terms of long-term performance, Vodafone Idea shares have delivered strong returns across multiple timeframes. The stock has gained 16.56% over the last six months, while rising 9.83% on a year-to-date basis. Over the past one year, the telecom counter has surged 76.21%.

According to NSE data, Vodafone Idea stock touched a fresh 52-week high of ₹13.09 on May 14, 2026, while its 52-week low stood at ₹6.12 on August 14, 2025. Vodafone Idea posted a net loss of Rs 5,286 crore for the quarter ended December 2025, which was marginally narrower as compared to 5,524 crore in the preceding quarter. The telecom firm's revenue saw a modest uptick of 1.1% to Rs 11,323 crore, as against Rs 11,195 crore in the three months ended September. The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation went up 2.8% sequentially to Rs 4,817 crore. The average revenue per user, which is a key metric to assess a telco's health, rose over 3% to Rs 186. In the previous quarter, it stood at Rs 180.
