India Women vs Australia Women: Australia women's national cricket team captain Alyssa Healy ended her international career on a winning note as Australia crushed India women's national cricket team by 10 wickets inside three days in the one-off day-night Test at the WACA Ground on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Australia completed the chase of 25 runs without losing a wicket after dismissing India for 149 in its second innings. Georgia Voll (16 not out) and Phoebe Litchfield (11 not out) guided the hosts to victory.

The dominant result sealed a 12-4 points victory for Australia in the multi-format series.

Healy, who is retiring from international cricket, did not get a chance to bat in the fourth innings as Australia’s regular openers completed the small chase comfortably.

India had resumed the third day at 105 for 6 and still needed 20 runs to make Australia bat again. Debutant Pratika Rawal fought a lone battle, scoring 63 off 137 balls, but India managed to take only a 24-run lead before being bowled out.

Spin duo Alana King and Ash Gardner finished off the Indian innings, claiming the final four wickets shortly after the start of play.

Earlier, Australia built a commanding position thanks to a superb all-round display from Annabel Sutherland, who scored 129 in the first innings and returned match figures of 6 for 61 from 23 overs.

India’s bowlers were led by debutant Sayali Satghare, who claimed four wickets in Australia’s first innings.

Despite Rawal’s resistance in the second innings, India struggled against Australia’s disciplined bowling attack. Sneh Rana briefly supported Rawal before being bowled by Gardner, while Kashvee Gautam fell for a duck to King.

Rawal eventually became the last wicket to fall, leaving Australia a simple target that was quickly chased down.

Following the victory, Healy was lifted onto the shoulders of teammates Ash Gardner and Ellyse Perry as the team celebrated her farewell.

For India, the defeat ended an unbeaten run of nine consecutive women’s Tests dating back to 2006. However, the visitors saw promising performances from debutants Pratika Rawal, Sayali Satghare, Kranti Gaud and Kashvee Gautam.
