India Women’s National Cricket Team vs Australia Women’s National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: Australia women's national cricket team sealed the three-match One-Day International series with a five-wicket win over India women's national cricket team in the second ODI on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Chasing 252 for victory, Australia reached 252 for five in 36.1 overs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Georgia Voll led the charge with a fluent 101 off 82 balls, registering her second ODI century. Opener Phoebe Litchfield supported her well with 80 off 62 deliveries as the hosts chased down the target with more than 13 overs to spare.
Earlier, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to bat. The visitors posted 251 for nine in their 50 overs.
India made a steady start, with Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal adding 78 runs for the opening wicket. However, regular wickets slowed the scoring rate and prevented India from building a bigger total.
Rawal scored 52 off 81 balls before being run out, while Harmanpreet struck 54 off 70 deliveries. Despite the two half-centuries, India could not push the total close to the 300-mark.
For Australia, Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland and Alana King picked up two wickets each to restrict India.
In reply, Voll and Litchfield took control of the chase with aggressive stroke play. The pair put the Indian bowlers under pressure and ensured there were no late setbacks.
With the series decided, the third and final ODI will be played on Sunday at the same venue. India will look to avoid a clean sweep, while Australia will aim to finish the series unbeaten.
Scorecard:India 251/9 in 50 overs (Harmanpreet Kaur 54, Pratika Rawal 52).Australia 252/5 in 36.1 overs (Georgia Voll 101, Phoebe Litchfield 80).
