Dhaka [Bangladesh], January 4 : Bangladesh have announced their 15-member squad for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Litton Das will lead Bangladesh at the marquee T20 event, set to be held in India and Sri Lanka in February-March, as per ICC's website.
Bangladesh boast a well-rounded bowling attack spearheaded by the experienced pair of pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed. The Litton Das-led Bangladesh are scheduled to kick their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign off on February 7 against two-time champions West Indies at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
After West Indies, Bangladesh will face Italy on February 9 at the same venue before facing the 2022 T20 World Cup champions, England, in Kolkata again. After facing England, Bangladesh are scheduled to travel to Mumbai to play Nepal at Wankhede Stadium.
The World Cup event will start on February 7 with a match between Pakistan and Netherlands at Colombo.
