A spectacular catch by Victoria’s Campbell Kellaway in the Sheffield Shield match at the WACA has drawn praise from cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who compared the effort to that of a superhero.
Tendulkar, amazed by the catch, shared his reaction on X. “Was it an audition for Spider-Man or Superman? This is truly a mind-boggling catch. Simply awesome,” he wrote.

Kellaway, fielding at long-on, initially misjudged a hook shot from Cameron Gannon but made a full-length dive to grab the ball with his outstretched right hand. The stunning effort sealed Victoria’s 34-run victory over Western Australia on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old Kellaway also made a major impact with the bat. He scored an unbeaten 165, playing a key role in Victoria’s win and earning the Player of the Match award.
