Gujarat briefly fought back when Georgia Wareham removed both openers in the same over, finishing with figures of two for 28. But the breakthrough did not slow Delhi, with Jemimah Rodrigues scoring 41 and Laura Wolvaardt remaining unbeaten on 32 to keep the chase on track. Marizanne Kapp hit the winning runs.
Earlier, Gujarat were held together by Beth Mooney, who made an unbeaten 62 off 51 balls with six fours. Wareham added 35 as the two Australians shared a 61-run stand for the fifth wicket. Kashvee Gautam contributed 18 late in the innings.
Delhi’s bowlers made early strikes, with Chinelle Henry taking three for 35, including the wicket of Sophie Devine for six. Nandini Sharma had an immediate impact, picking up two wickets in her first over. Spinners Minnu Mani and Sneh Rana applied pressure through the middle overs as Gujarat struggled to find boundaries.
Delhi will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final on Thursday. Bengaluru, led by Smriti Mandhana, qualified directly for the title match after finishing top of the league stage.
