An improved batting performance by the Delhi Capitals saw them defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets. By virtue of this win, Delhi have climbed to the second spot in the points table. Meanwhile, RCB have also qualified for the top four by virtue of their net run rate. Virat Kohli's men will keep a close eye on  tomorrow’s game between MI and SRH to see if they finish at no. 3 and no.4. Half-centuries by Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane helped Delhi Capitals complete the 153-run chase with ease.

Delhi Capitals kept things tight right from the word go as they restricted RCB to a moderate 152/7 in 20 overs. In response, Delhi lost Prithvi Shaw early. Earlier, both teams affected few changes to their squads. RCB brought in Shivam Dube for Gurkeerat Mann and Shahbaz Ahmed for Navdeep Saini. Delhi Capitals made three changes, picking Ajinjya Rahane, Axar Patel, and Daniel Sams replacing Shimron Hetmyer, Praveen Dubey, and Harshal Patel.
