India National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team Match Scorecard:Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep struck crucial half-centuries to help India reach 189 for 3 in their second innings at lunch on day three of the fifth and final Test against England at The Oval on Saturday. Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 85 off 106 balls as he edged closer to his sixth Test hundred. Akash Deep scored 66 runs off 94 balls in his maiden Test fifty before being dismissed by Jamie Overton just before the lunch break.

The pair added 107 runs for the third wicket and lifted India to a strong position. The visitors now lead England by 166 runs in the second innings. India were bowled out for 224 in the first innings. England had managed 247 in reply, taking a slender 23-run lead.

Jaiswal’s performance was a strong comeback after scoring only two runs in the first innings. India had ended day two on a shaky note after losing KL Rahul for 7 and debutant Sai Sudharsan for 11 in the final session. England currently lead the five-match series 2–1.
