Gujarat Titans (GT) lost a last over thriller against Rajasthan Royals losing by 6 runs in Ahmedabad.  Chasing 211, GT  were seven-down with 50 to get, but Rabada and Rashid  kept them alive. RR spinner Ravi Bishnoi scalped four wickets in the middle overs, including three in nine balls. One of Bishnoi's victims was Sai Sudharsan, who slammed a classy 73 off 44 balls, leading GT's chase in regular captain Shubman Gill's absence. 

Earlier, Dhruv Jurel smashed 75 off just 42 balls to help RR pile up score of 210/6 in 20 overs. 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal got RR off to a flying start, amassing 69/0 in the powerplay. Jaiswal slammed a half-century (55) too. GT's uncapped pacer Ashok Sharma clocked the fastest ball of IPL 2026 with a speed of 154 kmph.
