India National Cricket Team vs Netherlands National Cricket Team: India all-rounder Hardik Pandya became the first Indian cricketer to complete 6,000 runs and take 200 wickets in T20 cricket during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup match against the Netherlands on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The milestone came at the Narendra Modi Stadium when Pandya scored 30 off 21 balls, hitting three sixes. He needed 22 runs to reach the landmark and achieved the feat in his 278th innings across 322 matches.

Pandya now has more than 6,000 runs in the format and 221 wickets, including 78 in the Indian Premier League. He joins Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi and Dwayne Bravo among players worldwide to have achieved the 6,000-run and 200-wicket double in T20 cricket.

The 32-year-old has been in strong form in the tournament. He earlier struck 52 off 28 balls against Namibia and has taken two wickets each against Namibia and Pakistan.

Against the Netherlands, Pandya and Shivam Dube shared a 76-run stand for the fifth wicket to lift India to 193 for 6 in 20 overs. Dube top-scored with 66 off 31 balls, hitting six sixes and four boundaries. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma also made scores in the 30s.

Aryan Dutt was the pick of the Netherlands bowlers with 2 for 19, while Logan van Beek claimed three wickets but conceded 56 runs.

India, who have already qualified for the Super Eight stage after wins over the United States, Namibia and Pakistan, will next face South Africa in Ahmedabad on Feb. 22.
