India National Cricket Team vs England Cricket Team Match Scorecard: India defeated the England by seven runs in the semifinal of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday to reach the final.  Defending champions will face the New Zealand national cricket team in the championship match on Sunday, March 8, 2026. 

Sent in to bat, opener Sanju Samson scored 89 off 42 balls, hitting seven sixes and eight fours to guide India to 253 for seven. Shivam Dube (43), Ishan Kishan (39), Hardik Pandya (27) and Tilak Varma (21) also contributed with brisk innings.

Chasing 254, England’s Jacob Bethell struck a blistering 105 off 48 balls, but his effort went in vain as England finished 246 for seven in 20 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah was India’s most successful bowler with 1/33, while Pandya claimed two wickets. For England, Will Jacks (2/40) and Adil Rashid (2/41) took two wickets each. Arshdeep Singh (1/51), Axar Patel (1/35) and Varun Chakravarthy (1/64) claimed one wicket apiece.
