India Women’s National Cricket Team vs Australia Women’s National Cricket Team Match Scorecard: The India women's national cricket team clinched a 2-1 series win over Australia women's national cricket team after a 17-run victory in the third and final T20I at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Batting first, India posted 176-6, the highest T20 total at the venue in women’s cricket. Smriti Mandhana led the charge with 82 off 55 balls, while Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 59. Australia’s bowlers fought back late, but India still set a challenging target. In reply, Australia  managed 159-9. Ashleigh Gardner’s 57 kept hopes alive, yet wickets fell at regular intervals. Spinners Shreyanka Patil and Sree Charani each took three wickets to stifle the chase.

The win marked only the second time India has defeated Australia in a bilateral series, repeating the feat achieved in 2016 when the Mithali Raj-led side also won 2-1 in Australia. In that series, India won the opener by five wickets and the second match by 10 runs under the DLS method, while Australia avoided a clean sweep with a 15-run win in the final game.

India: 176 for 6 in 20 overs (Smriti Mandhana 82, Jemimah Rodrigues 59; Annabel Sutherland 2/34)

Australia: 159 for 9 in 20 overs (Ashleigh Gardner 57; Shree Charani 3/32, Shreyanka Patil 3/22, Arundhati Reddy 2/35).
