Jofra Archer played a crucial role in Punjab’s collapse, dismissing Priyansh Arya (0) and Shreyas Iyer (10) early in the innings. He later took his third wicket, dismissing Arshdeep Singh. Sandeep Sharma and Maheesh Theekshana took two wickets each, helping Rajasthan seal the win.

Sanju Samson contributed 38 runs off 26 balls, while Riyan Parag remained unbeaten on 43* off 25 balls. Nitish Rana (12 off 7), Shimron Hetmyer (20 off 12), and Dhruv Jurel (13 off 5) also made important contributions. Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the bowlers for Punjab, taking 2 wickets. With this win, Rajasthan Royals improved to two wins and two losses in the tournament. Punjab Kings' unbeaten run came to an end, leaving them with two wins and one defeat. Delhi Capitals are the only undefeated team in IPL 2025 with three wins from three matches.
