In a thrilling match at Chepauk Ground in Chennai, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) led by Jat Patidar broke their 17-year losing streak against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), securing a commanding victory. RCB's win over CSK marked their second victory at the Chepauk ground since the 2008 IPL season, where they had originally defeated Chennai.
RCB posted a challenging total of 197 runs, which CSK struggled to chase down. The Chennai team could only manage 146 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, falling short by a significant margin.
This victory was RCB’s second of the season, after their opening win against Kolkata Knight Riders. With this win, RCB added 4 points to their tally, giving their season a strong boost.
