Punjab Kings vs Gujarat Titans Match: Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh endured a difficult outing as he bowled an 11-ball over during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The left-arm seamer delivered the final over of Gujarat’s innings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur but struggled with his control. He bowled four wides and one no-ball before completing six legal deliveries, resulting in one of the longest overs in IPL history.

Arshdeep became the sixth bowler to register an 11-ball over in the tournament, joining a list that includes Mohammed Siraj, Tushar Deshpande, Shardul Thakur, Sandeep Sharma and Hardik Pandya. Siraj was the first to record the feat during the 2023 season while playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Tough outing for Arshdeep

The 25-year-old, who is Punjab Kings’ leading wicket-taker in IPL history, finished with figures of 0 for 42 in his four overs. He also missed an opportunity to reach a major milestone, as three wickets in the match would have made him the first bowler to claim 100 wickets for the franchise. He currently has 97 wickets in 84 matches since debuting in 2019.

PBKS bowlers deliver overall

Despite Arshdeep’s struggles, Punjab Kings produced a disciplined bowling performance to restrict Gujarat Titans.

Vijaykumar Vyshak was the standout performer, taking 3 for 34, while Yuzvendra Chahal picked up key wickets, including those of Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler. Marco Jansen also contributed with a tight spell. Punjab Kings ultimately restricted Gujarat Titans to 162 for 6.
