In a video shared on social media, Rana and Rathi were seen speaking and sharing a light moment before Pant intervened to ensure the matter was settled. Rana suggested a private conversation to fully resolve past issues, while Rishabh Pant encouraged both players to move on from the incident.

The two players had been involved in a heated altercation during the Delhi Premier League eliminator in August 2025, where a mid-delivery pause and subsequent exchanges led to a verbal spat that nearly turned physical. Both players were later fined for their conduct.
