IPL  2026, DC vs GT Today Match: KL Rahul returned to form with a fluent half-century and marked the milestone with a heartwarming celebration during Delhi Capitals’ Indian Premier League 2026 match against Gujarat Titans on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Playing at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Rahul reached his fifty off just 29 balls and celebrated with a baby gesture dedicated to his one-year-old daughter. His wife, Athiya Shetty, along with her brother Ahan Shetty, applauded from the stands.

The milestone came in the 11th over of the innings when Rahul attacked Prasidh Krishna, collecting 20 runs in the over. He struck a boundary before launching two sixes and finished with another four behind square on the off side to bring up his half-century.

The innings marked a turnaround for Rahul, who had scored 0 and 1 in his previous outings against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians.

Earlier, GT posted 210 for 4 after being sent in to bat. Captain Shubman Gill led from the front with 70 off 45 balls, including five sixes and four fours. Washington Sundar added 55 off 32, while Jos Buttler contributed 52 off 27.

For DC, Mukesh Kumar picked up wickets but conceded 55 runs in his four overs. Lungi Ngidi and Kuldeep Yadav claimed one wicket each.

Delhi entered the contest on the back of consecutive wins over Lucknow and Mumbai, while Gujarat sought to bounce back after a narrow six-run loss to Punjab Kings.
